Welcome to Double G Ranch Mohair, where we love to turn mohair into art!

My name is Kat Gillean, and I am the designer/owner of Double G Ranch Mohair. I reside in a small town of Winnsboro, TX with my husband, 2 kids, and 4 horses.

I began my Mohair Making the summer of 2021 when I wanted a breast collar of my own, but wasn’t impressed by the big name companies mohair designs. So my research began, and I began to weave! I love that I have the ability to add my artistic flair into each piece I create and then watch it go to work.

When I’m not at my regular day job, weaving, or taking care of the house, y’all can find me at the barn or on the back of my horse enjoying the view or the seldom barrel race.
